  4. What is eeCD?
  5. eeCD is an application to view and edit the Audio CD information stored in the Mac OS (located in the file "CD Remote Programs" in the Preferences folder).

  7. Quick Start
  8. Start eeCD and you will be presented with the main window. If the window is empty, you should open your "CD Remote Programs" file manually, it is usually located in the preferences folder. At the right is the information of the Audio CD selected in the listbox of the left. Edit the Audio CD artist and title in the editfields at the upper left corner and edit the songs names by triple clicking in the listbox and then typing. If you want you can delete an Audio CD entry by selecting the Audio CD and pushing the delete key. You can sort the Audio CD list by clicking on the list headings.

  10. Drag'n Drop
  11. eeCD has full support of drag'n drop. You can drag a CD entry in the right listbox and drop it on the desktop (or a word processor) to create a text clipping of the Audio CD artist, title and songs. You can also drag individual songs from Audio CDs.

  13. Filter
  14. If you input a text in the editfield labeled "Filter:" the listbox of the Audio CDs will update showing only those that have that text either in the artist or the title.

  16. Missing features
  17. There are some missing features that I am trying to implement in future versions, they are:

  19. Exporting and printing the Audio CD list.
  20. Minor Audio CD player features.
  21. Editing the new Audio CD info that iTunes stores in a new "CD Remote Programs Plus" file.

  33. 1.1 - Rewritten from scratch the loading routines. Now they are up to ten times faster.
  34. Now you can drag'n drop more than one Audio CD entry from the list with a limit of 100 at a time.
  35. Added the option of loading a different CD Remote Programs file other than the default one. This should fix the localization problems.
  36. Fixed the cosmetic bug when the entry don't have the " / " separator.
  37. Added the posibility of resizing the column widths.
  38. Added preferences for the window size, last open file and column widths.
